Welcome to Day 3 of The Book Basement's Insurgent Countdown! Today's topic is my dream cast for the characters of Divergent!
Saoirse Ronan as Tris Prior - I think she's the perfect Tris. At least, in my head!
Matt Lanter as Four - Matt Lanter is like 29 years old. Four is 18. Huge age difference, I know, but I can't picture Four as anyone else!
Shanica Knowles as Christina.
Lucas Till as Will.
Cameron Bright as Peter.
Landon Liboiron as Caleb Prior.
If I left out characters (such as Eric, Jeanine, Uriah, etc.), it is NOT because I forgot about them! It's because I couldn't find someone that really looked like how I pictured them.

ReplyDeleteThe only one of your choices I disagree with is Matt Lanter. XD I'm really sorry, but I just don't see him as Four. I think Max Irons would be a good choice.

ReplyDeletePerfect choices, Sophie! Saoirse Ronan is PERFECT for Tris! I'm a bit undecided on Four but Shanica is great for Christina and the person you picked for Peter is spot on! Ditto for Will! Not too sure about Caleb though- as far as how I pictured him. Great post! It was lots of fun. Can't wait for more Insurgent-related awesomeness!

DeleteI seriously can't imagine anyone else but Saoirse Ronan for Tris! She's so PERFECT for the role but unfortunately, I highly doubt she would do the film. Sigh. I also...forgot who everyone else was so I don't have good input for you. Guess that means I really need to re-read, ha.
ReplyDeleteHmm I think that Four needs to be someone darker even though Matt can be pretty dark he's not dark enough. Maybe Michael Trevino if he grew his hair out a little more?

Lucas Till is perfect for Will! I don't really know who I'd choose for Four, I have the perfect image in my head, but I just can't put a name to it.

ReplyDeleteNice cast! I always find it really difficult to picture my perfect cast members for the main characters, so I'm not sure about Tris and Four. Though that Matt Lanter sure is something to look at. ;) Lucas as Will is a great choice! I can definitely imagine Will looking like that.
ReplyDeleteI like Saoirse Ronan as Tris, too... but for Four, I think I'd like maybe Josh Hutcherson to play him. the thing is he's already Peeta, so I can't picture him PERFECTLY as Four, but I can't picture anyone else either!

ReplyDeleteI think your list is ABSOLUTELY perfect! I didn't even think of Matt Lanter as Four, because I always pictured Max Irons as Four. However, Matt Lanter could work ...as long as he maintains that youthful look. If not him, Max Irons would be my next choice.
ReplyDeleteI would, however, recommend Aaron Johnson as Peter. I think he has a much more rugged, yet, cute look to him! Also, Chloe Moretz as Tori, and we're completely PERFECT! :D
