Synopsis: In this follow-up to Anna Dressed in Blood, Cas begins seeing Anna everywhere: sometimes when he’s asleep, and sometimes in waking nightmares. But something is very wrong. These aren’t just daydreams. Anna seems tortured, torn apart in new and ever more gruesome ways every time she appears. 

Cas doesn’t know what happened to Anna when she disappeared into Hell, but he knows she doesn’t deserve whatever is happening to her now. Anna saved Cas more than once, and it’s time for him to return the favor.

Why I'm Waiting On It: I LOVED Anna Dressed in Blood and so, of course, it'd only make sense for me to be excited about the sequel! Cas and Anna are both really amazing character, and their strange relationship is definitely fascinating. I love where the plot is going in this second installment, and I cannot wait to read this one! I know Kendare Blake is definitely going to impress me once again.

    Yes! Anna was such an amazing surprise for me and I'm really looking forward to seeing how things turn out in this sequel. I miss Cas most of all!

    I really liked Anna Dressed in Blood as well, complete with the haunting cover. So I'm definitely waiting on this one too :). Great pick.

    I only got 2/3 of the way through Anna Dressed in Blood before it was due back to the library and people just keep checking it out and checking it out. I was really enjoying it and hope someday I get to finish it! And read this one as well. :D

    I'm hesitant to read this series, not because it doesn't sound good (because it does), but because the model that they use on the covers looks like the girl from Orphan. That movie creeped the hell out of me, and every time I see these books I remember just how much.

    Anyways, an interesting pick!
