Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Feel Everyone Has Read But Me

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish in which bloggers share their top ten list for whatever the prompt is for that week.

1. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - well, partially... I've read like the first 100 pages at Barnes and Noble but I didn't buy it, due to the fact that during that particular trip, I hadn't brought my wallet with me.

2. The Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa -  this is actually not my fault, haha! I haven't seen this series at my Barnes and Noble so... :P
3. Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead - I have no excuse for this.

4. Caster Chronicles series by Kami Garcia - They have this series at my library... Again, no excuse.

5. Perfect Chemistry series by Simone Elkeles - Either you absolutely love it or you absolutely hate it. I've heard tons of great things but I absolutely HATE the covers!

6. Matched by Allie Condie - Lots of mixed reviews. Gorgeous cover? Check! Dystopian? Check! Content? *silence*

7. Wither by Lauren DeStefano - Need. To. Read. This. Like. NOW.

8. Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick - My friend's offered to let me read her copy... My tbr pile is just too big.

9. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater - Didn't like it the first time... I should give it another try.

10. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin - Now, this book hasn't been released yet, but I've been seeing so many rave reviews. I am just practically dying to read this book!

That's my list! What's on your Top Ten? :) Feel free to leave links below.

  1. So sorry you don't like the covers for the Perfect Chemistry series. They really are truly amazing books.

I haven't read The Iron King yet, either.

I've avoided Hush, Hush because I didn't like Fallen. (How's that for quirky?)

Anna and the French Kiss was pretty good.

  2. You told me I had to read Divergent and Delirium (which I will!) but you certainly must finish Anna and the French Kiss. I loved that book. Also, I've read the first in the Perfect Chemistry book and it was amazing.

  3. Anna is the best! I love Beautiful Creatures as well. It's a much slower book, but really interesting.

  4. Get your hands on Anna and the French Kiss and the first couple of the VA series. Now. No excuses ...go now. [: [:

I personally wasn't a fan on Wither at all, but hope you enjoy it. And all the other ones on the list when you get to them.

  5. I surprisingly enjoyed Matched, so I would recommend that one. Wither and Beautiful Creatures are sitting on my shelf waiting to be read. There is just never enough time in the day, especially when more books keep coming in!

  7. Anna and the French Kiss is one I'm hopefully reading in the next week or so! It's been on my list for forever! I finally got it though, so I'm excited to read it! I really liked The Iron Fey series! And I just finished the Vampire Academy series! It's so so good! :] I haven't read the Caster Chronicles, Matched, Wither or The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer. I've been wanting to read that last one though! People seem to love it! I really like Hush, Hush!

    My Top 10 Tuesday!

  12. Ok, from these I've read Beautiful Creatures (which I loved) Hush Hush (which I can't really recommend) Wither (which was really good) & Perfect Chemistry (which was good).

  13. I loved LOVED Beautiful Creatures, but the second one wasn't as fabulous to me. Vampire Academy is hands down my favourite paranormal YA series so I so totally think you should read that asap! Though the 7 book time commitment is a lot.

But I'm with you on Unbecoming of... So many books that haven't been released but that looks so amazingly good! I hope you get to read the ones of these you want to soon.

Also Anna! Oooh, if you like Paris, you need to read this. It's like a trip back there plus awesome characters to hang out with.

  14. I'm sure you are getting tons of feedback on Anna, because that book is simply amazeballs! Don't let the cover for Perfect Chemistry deter you, the book is really good :0)I haven't read Beautiful Creatures or Wither, either, so you aren't alone on those. And I just wanted to let you know, I've officially added Divergent to my TBR list!

  15. Wow. If I hadn't already written my list, I'd probably want to just copy and paste yours! LOL I haven't read any of these books, either, but they're all ones I've been eyeing. I can't believe I forgot to add WITHER to my list. Bah! OH well!

    Happy Tuesday!

  16. Sooo besides 'Hush Hush' I've read all of these. Well, I didn't finish 'Beautiful Creatures' so I guess that one doesn't count.

'Anna' is just fabulous, I think everyone should read it. ;) The Iron Fey books are definitely worth reading, and I lovedddd Vampire Academy even though I'm not usually a vampire fan.

The Perfect Chemistry books are REALLY good! Well, the first two are, I haven't read the 3rd one yet. I loved 'Wither' as well.

'Matched', well I wasn't a fan of it, but I know most people adored it. Same with 'Mara Dyer' ... I did like it, but it was far too confusing and left me with way too many questions, but most people are over the moon about it, so I guess my opinion is off or something. ;)
